Reflections Week 7
I think that technology is great but we need to remember that we should not go too far with technology. So much technology can be more of a distraction that a learning tool. As for my weeks project I wanted to do so much and had little time. First there needs to always be a student companion site where the student can go and get information. Once that has been established there needs to be some type of teacher student connection and that is where I would use weekly podcast and Google video for chatting and communication. I do believe that stunts can’t be taken lightly there should be some boring in class semesters this makes the student a better person.

Reflection Week 6
This week was very important and i am very happy that podcast have made it into the online educational classroom. I just started to use podcast this semester for my personal classes that i teach and it is great. With podcast, we have that student teacher relationship that is so hard to get unless everyone is in a classroom setting. However, allowing the students to see what is happening it drowns his or her attention rather than text on a page that loses me as a student with a few hours into assignments. But having that interaction is great and i recommend this to any educator.

Reflections Week 5
My reaction to the technology I have just been introduced to
is stunning I did not there was a place to save the bookmarks of your findings
and share them with others. However, I have to look at there is so many social
media sites out there and everyone is doing the same thing on all of the sites
something that involves calibration. I believe Google has facilitated this best
by adding there tool in an all in one place for the users to get to instead of
logging into multiple sites. If the tool were built into Google it would be an excellent
tool in my arsenal but my usernames and password slits is growing. This will be
a great tool for students as well even though some links may be blocked from
school it is very true that he or she can go home and get to the site but
without adding control and seamlessness to the students access makes the
process cloudy and the student has less time registering for this tool than learning.
In this class since we are leaning about technology It is a great fit but for
someone that is not tech savvy we want to focus their attention on one tool and
leverage that tool. Organizing bookmarks on any site that facilitates that
storage and social media aspect is great and puts a college student and or
professor at a great advantage to always have that knowledge stored in a safe location.
As well as have the ability to share that knowledge.
